Erin & Alan (& Ben)
We are both experienced tent and back-country campers, but as we are getting older, we’re more into creature comforts. We especially appreciate not having to set up a tent in the dark if we have a delay, or pack up a rain- or dew-soaked tent in the morning. We love staying in National and State park campgrounds, and have visited 19 of the 63 US National Parks together so far (and flew low over Gates of the Arctic but didn’t set down). Road trips are our jam! We usually stay on the road for a few weeks at a time, and average about 5000 miles per trip.
We adopted Trailer Swift in May of 2021, and immediately set out on a 20-state road trip with our senior diabetic rescue cat Obi-Type1 Kenobi (a.k.a. Ben). You can find Ben on Instagram @obi_type1 (his insta is far cuter than ours).
